

Hike to the Segantini hut
Monday, September 30th, 9:00 a.m.
The hike has been cancelled due to the recent snowfall.
To mark the 125th anniversary of Segantini’s passing, we will visit the Segantini Hut on the Schafberg Mountain, where the great painter passed away on September 28, 1899
Meeting point: Alp Languard chairlift valley station, Via Cruscheda 7504 Pontresina, 9:00 a.m.
We will take the chairlift to Alp Languard (CHF 20.50) and from there we will set off on a scenic hike to the Segantini hut. Once there, we will enjoy our lunch with a breathtaking view that inspired the painting “Nature”, the central section of Segantini’s famous Alpine triptych. Segantini was in the process of completing this painting when he passed away.
Afterwards, we hike back to Pontresina.
